Description
Peanut butter blossoms are classic cookies with a peanut butter base and a chocolate kiss in the center.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Additional granulated sugar for rolling
- 48 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream together sugars, peanut butter, and butter.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into each cookie.
- Cool on wire racks.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter for easier mixing.
- Don’t overbake—cookies should be lightly golden.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
