Description
A simple dandelion jelly recipe that uses no pectin.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dandelion petals
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 4 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Wash dandelion petals thoroughly.
- Boil petals in water for 10 minutes.
- Strain liquid into a bowl.
- Add lemon juice and butter to liquid.
- Stir in sugar and boil for 10 minutes.
- Check for set by placing a spoonful on a cold plate.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
Notes
- Use only the yellow petals, avoiding green parts.
- Make sure jars are sterilized before use.
- Store jelly in a cool, dark place.
