A hearty dish featuring spicy sausages served with creamy mashed potatoes and a rich onion sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 spicy sausages
- 500g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 50g butter
- 100ml milk
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200ml beef stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash with butter and milk.
- Fry the sausages in a pan until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the onions until soft and caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions, stir, then gradually add beef stock to make a smooth sauce.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- Serve the sausages on top of mashed potatoes, drizzled with the onion sauce.
Notes
- Use high-quality sausages for the best flavor.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less stock.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash of cream to the mashed potatoes.
