A hearty and flavorful chili inspired by wienerschnitzel.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese for topping
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in the chili powder and cumin, cooking for 1 minute.
- Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese.
