Description

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken inside and out with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Place the lemon halves and herbs inside the cavity of the chicken.
  3. Place the chicken in the crockpot, breast side up.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
