- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, water, egg, and oil until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cakes cool completely.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled cakes before serving.
