Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 box (16 oz) penne pasta
  • 1 package (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Add cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine cooked penne pasta with the beef and cheese sauce. Mix until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

  • For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms with the onions.
