- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 box (16 oz) penne pasta
- 1 package (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Reduce heat to low. Add cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Combine cooked penne pasta with the beef and cheese sauce. Mix until evenly coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms with the onions.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
