  • 2 cups cold milk (for pudding)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  4. Divide batter evenly between the pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
  5. Prepare pudding with 2 cups cold milk as per package instructions. Chill.
  6. Once cakes are cool, spread pudding over one layer. Top with the second layer.
