Delicious cake pops perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frosting
- 12 oz chocolate melts
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake the cake and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a bowl.
- Mix in the frosting until well combined.
- Form small balls with the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave.
- Dip the end of a stick into the melted chocolate and insert into each cake ball.
- Coat each cake pop in the melted chocolate.
- Decorate with sprinkles.
- Let them set on a stand or in a block of styrofoam.
Notes
- Use different colors of chocolate for variety.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be made ahead of time.
