Description
A classic turkey club sandwich stacked high with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 4 oz sliced turkey breast
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
- 2 leaves of romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: avocado slices or cheese
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toast.
- On the first slice of bread, layer lettuce, turkey, and tomato. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side up.
- On the second slice, layer bacon and additional lettuce and tomato if desired.
- Top with the third slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and cut into quarters if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding avocado or your favorite cheese.
- Feel free to customize with additional toppings like pickles or onions.
