Description

A classic turkey club sandwich stacked high with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 4 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 2 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 2 leaves of romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: avocado slices or cheese

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toast.
  3. On the first slice of bread, layer lettuce, turkey, and tomato. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side up.
  5. On the second slice, layer bacon and additional lettuce and tomato if desired.
  6. Top with the third slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and cut into quarters if desired. Serve immediately.
