  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce.
