Description
Delicious cinnamon rolls soaked in a tres leches mixture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Warm milk and butter until melted. Stir into dry ingredients.
- Add egg and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and vanilla.
- Pour the milk mixture over warm rolls and let soak for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Best served warm.
