Description

Delicious cinnamon rolls soaked in a tres leches mixture.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm milk and butter until melted. Stir into dry ingredients.
  3. Add egg and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  9. In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and vanilla.
  10. Pour the milk mixture over warm rolls and let soak for 15 minutes before serving.
