Ingredients
Scale
- 1 kg potatoes
- 500 g cabbage
- 250 g butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 500 ml milk
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Shred the cabbage and add it to the potatoes for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Drain the potatoes and cabbage.
- Mash the potatoes and cabbage together.
- Add butter and warm milk, mixing until smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use floury potatoes for a smoother mash.
- Adjust the amount of milk for desired consistency.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
