Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • Wooden skewers, soaked

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and chili flakes in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Thread chicken onto soaked skewers.
  4. Grill or pan-fry skewers for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  5. Serve hot with lime wedges.

  • Soak skewers for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
