Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (about 8 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove steaks and let rest.
  5. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
  6. Add beef broth and simmer for 1 minute.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and Dijon mustard.
  8. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Pour sauce over steaks and serve.
