Description

Juicy ribeye steak cooked to perfection, topped with aromatic garlic butter and served with crispy golden fries.


Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (12 oz)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups frozen fries
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the ribeye generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Baste the steak with the melted butter for 1 minute.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  6. While the steak cooks, bake the fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  7. Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the steak with the crispy fries and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter.

  • Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (135°F for medium-rare).
  • Let the steak come to room temperature before cooking for even doneness.
