Description
Juicy ribeye steak cooked to perfection, topped with aromatic garlic butter and served with crispy golden fries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ribeye steak (12 oz)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups frozen fries
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the ribeye generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Baste the steak with the melted butter for 1 minute.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- While the steak cooks, bake the fries according to package instructions until crispy.
- Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the steak with the crispy fries and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (135°F for medium-rare).
- Let the steak come to room temperature before cooking for even doneness.
- For extra crispiness, fry the fries instead of baking.
