- 2 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp whole grain mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, thyme, and chicken broth. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan, coat with sauce, and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use boneless, skinless chicken thighs if preferred.
- Adjust mustard quantity to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
