Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, and salt for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté until golden.
  3. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  4. Add marinated chicken and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, marinate chicken overnight.
  • Adjust chili powder for desired spiciness.
  • Use fresh cream for best results.
