- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1 bag frozen tater tots (32 oz)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half the tater tots.
- Add the cooked sausage on top of the tater tots.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage.
- Top with the remaining tater tots and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a spicier version, use hot sausage.
