  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
  • Optional: sour cream and jalapeños for serving

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning to the meat along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
