A refreshing, sweetened iced tea perfect for warm days.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black tea recommended)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices or mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the tea mixture.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sugar based on your taste preference.
- For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags longer.
- Sweet tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
