Ingredients

- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Place sweet potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain.
- Mash the sweet potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Use plant-based butter and milk for a vegan version.
