A simple and delicious sweet chili sauce recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water (for cornstarch)
- 2 tablespoons chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and rice vinegar.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan while stirring.
- Stir in chili flakes, minced garlic, and soy sauce.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
Notes
- Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
- Adjust chili flakes for desired heat level.
