- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Alternately add flour mixture and milk, mixing until smooth.
- Divide batter evenly between pans. Swirl strawberry puree into each.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Whip mascarpone, cream, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Frost the cooled cake layers with whipped mascarpone frosting.
