Description

Delicious strawberry cinnamon rolls with a hint of cinnamon.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
  3. Add the warm mixture to the dry ingredients and mix.
  4. Add the egg and knead until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and spread chopped strawberries and cinnamon mixture on top.
  7. Roll the dough and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar for frosting.
  11. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
