- 1 lb sirloin steak
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
- Slice the grilled steak against the grain and place it on top of the salad.
- Sprinkle blue cheese over the salad and drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette.
