Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool, then top with fresh berries.
