Instructions

  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Pour the batter into prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cakes cool before removing from pans.
