Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix ground beef, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form mixture into 12 meatballs, stuffing each with mozzarella cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh spinach for best results.
- Meatballs can be frozen before baking.
- For extra flavor, add 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes.
