Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned, then remove from pan.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Add the sauce to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Return beef to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

- Slice beef thinly for even cooking.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
