Description

A delicious Korean dish featuring thinly sliced beef marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce, then grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Add sliced beef and onions to the marinade. Mix well and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, marinate the beef overnight.
  • Adjust gochujang for more or less heat.
  • Serve with rice and kimchi for a complete meal.
