- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the sliced beef and onions to the marinade. Mix well and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the beef in batches until browned and cooked through.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the beef overnight.
- Adjust gochujang to control the spiciness.
- Serve with steamed rice and kimchi.
