- 2–4 jalapenos (sliced, adjust for spice preference)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken to the marinade, coat well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill jalapenos for 2-3 minutes per side until charred, then set aside.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- In the last minute, return jalapenos to the grill to warm.
- Let chicken rest before slicing. Garnish with cilantro or parsley if desired.

- Adjust jalapeno quantity for spice preference. Remove seeds for milder flavor.
- Use wood chips for extra smokiness.
- Pair with limeade or cold beer to balance the heat.
