- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 pound Breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times.
- Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush tops with milk.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir to combine.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring continuously until the gravy thickens.
- Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Serve the hot biscuits topped with the sausage gravy.
