Delicious pancakes made using sourdough discard.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
- Pour batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form, then flip.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Adjust milk for desired batter thickness.
- Keep pancakes warm in the oven while cooking the rest.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
