Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
  5. Pour batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form, then flip.
  6. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust milk for desired batter thickness.
  • Keep pancakes warm in the oven while cooking the rest.
