Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Add sourdough discard, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over warm rolls.
