Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar
  • 12 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add sourdough starter, melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread melted butter on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Mix icing sugar with water to make a glaze and drizzle over rolls.
