Delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls made quickly for a delightful treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add sourdough starter, melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix icing sugar with water to make a glaze and drizzle over rolls.
Notes
- Use active sourdough starter for best results.
- Adjust cinnamon and sugar to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
