Description

Soft, sweet cinnamon rolls that melt in your mouth. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Heat water, milk, and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients with egg.
  3. Knead dough until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter on top.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over butter.
  6. Roll dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 slices.
  7. Place rolls in a greased pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden.

Notes

  • Let dough rise in a warm place for best results.
  • Add cream cheese frosting if desired.
