- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine potatoes, smoked sausage, melted butter, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- You can use any type of cheese you prefer.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
