Description

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Rub the prime rib with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread minced garlic over the roast.
  4. Place rosemary and thyme on top of the roast.
  5. Place the roast in a roasting pan with the fat side up.
  6. Roast for 4-6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
