A classic slow roasted prime rib recipe for a tender and flavorful roast.

- 1 prime rib roast (4–6 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Rub the prime rib with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread minced garlic over the roast.
- Place rosemary and thyme on top of the roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan with the fat side up.
- Roast for 4-6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 20 minutes before carving.

- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the roast.
