Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 8 corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  2. Place the beef in the slow cooker. Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, and paprika.
  3. Pour beef broth and lime juice over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the beef with two forks.
  6. Serve on warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.
