- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic.
- Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
- Stir the slurry into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Once done, serve the Mongolian beef over steamed rice or noodles.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
