Tender beef and noodles cooked in a savory Korean-inspired sauce. This slow cooker recipe is easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

- 1.5 lbs beef chuck, thinly sliced
- 8 oz Korean rice noodles
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place beef in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and gochujang.
- Pour the sauce and beef broth over the beef.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the beef with forks.
- Add noodles and carrots, cook for another 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust gochujang for more or less spice.
- Use rice noodles for best texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
