A simple and hearty slow cooker chuck roast recipe.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs chuck roast
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, carrots, and potatoes around the roast.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the meat with a fork and serve with vegetables.
Notes
- For added flavor, sear the roast in a pan before placing it in the slow cooker.
- Adjust vegetables based on your preference.
- This dish pairs well with crusty bread.
