Description
A hearty slow cooker chili made with ground beef.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can add bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Great with cornbread or over rice.
