A creamy and flavorful dish combining Cajun-spiced chicken with rich Alfredo sauce, all made easy in your slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  3. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir into the sauce.
  6. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and mix with the chicken and sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
