Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork loin or tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 cup water or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place pork in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in a bowl.
  3. Pour mixture over the pork.
  4. Add water or chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Remove pork and shred.
  7. Strain the liquid and simmer in a saucepan until thickened.
  8. Toss shredded pork in the glaze before serving.
