- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Serve on buns or over rice.

- For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
