Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned.
  5. Add onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  6. Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Return potatoes to the skillet and mix well.
  9. Cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
  10. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
  • Add hot sauce for extra spice.
  • Top with shredded cheese if desired.
