- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in potatoes, sloppy joe sauce, and water.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.

- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Adjust sauce quantity to your preference.
